Job Responsibilities:

  • Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and timely manner
  • Inspect trucks and trailers before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working condition
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed
  • Perform basic truck maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the job

Qualifications:

  • A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Prior experience as a truck driver in a construction or excavation setting
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
